The Country Music Association is making room for Ronnie Milsap, Hank Cochran and Mac Wiseman in the Country Music Hall of Fame.
Kix Brooks and Hunter Hayes were among those on hand to announce the new inductees in Nashville this morning.
Hayes introduced six-time Grammy winner Milsap, known for crossover hits such as "Smoky Mountain Rain" and "(There's) No Gettin' Over Me," as the Hall of Fame's newest "Modern Era Artist" inductee.
Cochran, who wrote hits for Patsy Cline, George Strait and others, will be inducted posthumously in the "Songwriter" category. He died in 2010.
And bluegrass great Wiseman was named as the honoree in the "Veteran Era Artist" catetory. All three will be officially inducted int the Country Music Hall of Fame later this year.
